I have to laugh a little because this is bringing back bad memories of using pvc pipe as a mold. Mine was 3-inch and it had a full slice of lufa in the middle with soap poured around it. We cut the pipe off then hinged it for the second try. That wasn't good either. I cut the slices with the lufa on Bob's band saw. The soap cleaned it up nice ;o) Now I make lufa soap but now in my regular molds with pre-sliced lufa. They are more rustic, but it's part of their charm. You won't get me pouring into a pipe again.
