Too much heat

Too much heat or to long on one side will do this.

Shrink wrapped with logo

With the ends pen you can add your logo and all the info required and on both sides if you like. Some exposure on the ends occurred after shrinking was finished.

Shrink wraped

This soap shrink wrapped when I got it.  It doesn't stack well with the ends all messed up but if you leave the ends open it works very well.

Tubing does't work to well with some molds. does;t form fit like I figure it should .

Sealer

This sealer makes bags

ULINE tube shrink tubing

This is the tubing I bought.

My Cutter 3

Created this cutter for cutting slab or multi bar molds like this ribbon mold.  All cutters are $200.00 each.

My Cutter 2

This cutter has a added feature, interchangeable cutter, the other cutter has a 5/8 spacing between wires. All wires are a  D'Addario Guitar Strings PL016 , .014 thick. These strings can be any spacing you request for spacing or thickness bars require.

My Cutter 1

In down location. Board is an old cabinet that I tore apart some time ago.

My Cutter

This Cutter is for me. Wire spacing is 1 1/16 , will cut a 18 in. bar 4 in. wide.

At last

At last I finally got it out of the tube, 3 days to get it out. I spread Vaseline on the inside of the tube with a sponge on the end of a stick. these tubes are 18 in. long and 2 in in diameter or 2 in pvc pipe.

Too much Soap

These tubes have Vasoline as a parting agent we will see tomorrow morning how this works.

Bad Math

These tubes are 18 in. long and 2 in. in diameter. I figured it out it was supposed to fill one tube 16 in deep, well, it didn't work out that way.  After a lot of name calling I figured out what the problem was, I used the dim. of radius instead of dia. when figuring out sq in of circle X height to get volume. So I ended up with about 3 times to much soap.

Movie #2

This clip shows after the cutting along with a cat that see what I was doing. Found a error, the bar hits the top of the soap brick so I have to change the tabs a little. This is the first brick I made and it cured in the mold for 21 hours maybe little hard but it cut easy, well I think so.

Movie #1

This video shows 3 stop tabs for the brick of soap and the cutting of the brick

NEVER ASSUME

I did and look what happened. I assumed the screen in this thing was stainless, no really it was aluminum and it went away real fast. I was filtering lye water that was Lavender water that I had made about a week ago and it had some brown stuff on the surface so I figured what the heck I will filter it with a coffee filter in this thing. WRONG again.

Finished
